Denial of Service
Manex57 retains the right to deny service for any reason. (see unexpected cancelation)
This can include but isn’t limited to:
- Offensive behaviour, Unreasonable, rude or threatening behaviour.
- Any other reason we decide not to work with you, which we are not obliged to disclose.
If we become made aware of behaviour or actions of a customer, we reserve the right to deny service at any time. The Ideals and morals of Manex57 does not reflect the opinions of our customers and likewise our company is not reflected by those who purchase our services or goods.
Slot Availability
There are 2 types of commissions we accept.
1. Fleece and/or fur Fursuit Heads, Kigus, Tails, Paws and other Fursuit parts.
These are generally slots made available at conventions and requirements and deliverables are agreed in person and confirmed by Telegram.
These are the most standard type of commission we take and our queue is often full between conventions. When you discuss your requirements with us we will provide you with a quote. Quotes are valid for 6 months and are free. If accepted, we will make a concept art of your character in the Kigu style to be approved with the materials we have available to us.
2. Premade Items
Premade items sold at conventions and online which are already crafted and availability of these items is on a ‘First come first served’ basis.
It may be possible to alter a pre-made item to some degree. Alterations should be discussed before purchasing an item to avoid disappointment.
Construction and Updates
The expected completion date for a custom commissioned item is subject to our existing queue and staff commitments. Generally from when work begins on your item once fabrics have arrived is around 3 weeks. If any extensions are needed the buyer will be contacted.
Updates to clients are given via direct message on telegram or the clients preferred contact method as we have them. We may post updates publicly at our discretion, please indicate if you would like your commission to be private at the time of ordering.
If you are unhappy with anything during the updates phase, failure to notify us of any omissions, concerns or changes you desire may result in your order being cancelled and refunded either partially or fully. This is due to unnecessary work having to be completed once an agreement on what would be delivered has occurred. This aims to protect the buyer from receiving an item they are unhappy with and the maker from undertaking lengthy unagreed additional work.
Excessive, unreasonable requests to change an item after the Kigu design has been agreed between the buyer and the artist can incur additional charges if the requests cause the new design to be considered a more complex design. This may also occour if requested changes were not raised with us when asked for feedback to a work in progress update and cause significant additional work to be carried out that could have been avoided.
Age Restrictions
All buyers must be +18. If below that age a legal guardian or parent must purchase the item with an account and proof of age. We reserve the right at any point to ask for proof of age.
Payment Plans
Payment plans are not generally offered, but if you have an exceptional reason, please discuss this at the point of accepting your slot.
Missed Payments
Should you be on a payment plan, please be advised no work will be made on your order until the balance is paid.
Shipping
The product will only be shipped following its completion. We always ship with tracked insured providers. Shipping costs will be confirmed with the buyer at the time of the commission being accepted. We will always work with you in the unlikely event of a lost or damaged package, this is why we only ship fully insured.
International Shipping
At present if you would like a commission to be shipped internationally (outside of mainland England) you will need to contact us in advance of confirming your commission to check we can provide shipping; and any taxes, duties and any other additional charges incurred will not be covered by ourselves.
Warranty and repair
If there are any issues with the materials or handiwork of a piece you can send it back to us for repairs. Please be aware that any changes you did not inform of us during the Work in Progress stage will not be considered part of the warranty.
The buyer has 30 days from the marked as delivered date to discuss any holes, popped seams or anything they consider technically defective with the product. From then the buyer and maker will discuss potential options and remediation such as repairs with the return trip shipping covered by the client.
- Manex57 is not responsible for any damage incurred by the customer to their suit.
- Modifying your suit yourself may void this warranty. Please ask us before making modifications.
- Selling a suit to a third party will not directly void this warranty, but proof of new ownership may be requested from you.
Premade items sold at conventions and online which are already crafted are sold with a reasonable lifelong guarantee for any defects resulting from the manufacture of the item by us.
It is worth noting that some repairs or change requests may not be possible due to factors out of our control such as availability of materials from suppliers.
Allergen warning
These products are made in a dog friendly house. While animals are not allowed in the workspace, dander may be present. Please keep this in mind if there are allergies to discuss potential options or cancellations.
Unexpected cancelations
If the buyer cancels the commission, they will be refunded the full amount minus any costs already incurred to us. If the maker (Manex57) has to cancel for any reason, the buyer will be refunded the full amount. Depending on the amount of progress on the commission, a blacklist may be considered upon our discretion (see blacklist). Refunds are only made to the original payment method.
Chargebacks
Attempted Unwarranted chargebacks are considered immediate termination of the commission and the buyer will be blacklisted.
Force Majeure
Some factors out of our control such as natural disasters or pandemics may affect our ability to deliver our services and products to you. These will be communicated to clients at the time of this being applicable.
Blacklist
A customer can be placed on a private blacklist for any of the reasons stated within this Terms of Service. To be on the Blacklist generally means that you are barred from purchasing commissioned pieces from us. Thus, only premade items may be purchased. Be advised that if you are blacklisted the warranty on premade items may be void.
Depending on severity, however, this can also mean you are completely barred from any purchases from Manex57 moving forward.
Privacy Policy
These terms and conditions are additionally impacted by the Personal Data Privacy Policy which is available online.
Our Pricing
Prices are a reflection of this maker’s years of experience & skill making suits, current inflation rates, cost of materials, cost of living that come out of each piece. It’s asked that commissioners respect the maker’s ability to be paid a living wage.
Submission of the deposit is proof that the buyer has read and agreed to these terms.
